The design starts with the church. Instead of separating from it or trying to compete, the new building wraps gently around the existing structure. We echoed some of the church’s key architectural rhythms and materials without copying them — allowing the two buildings to speak to each other in a quiet, respectful way.

Nous sommes ravis de contribuer à créer un précédent pour les futurs projets durables à Ottawa.
En gardant à l'esprit la préservation du patrimoine de l'église, les éléments de conception existants sont soigneusement intégrés au nouveau bâtiment environnant, ce qui redonne vie à l'église et permet d'harmoniser les deux bâtiments.
